Are you looking for a special cake for someone special? Then maybe my recipe for a delicious kinder country cake is just right for you! In this post, I’ll show you how to prepare a great cake from Kinder Country that doesn’t have to be baked. But be careful: there is a risk of addiction!

Who does not know her? The delicious little bars with cereals, milk cream and chocolate. Kinder Country can be found in every refrigerated shelf and is one of the most popular sweets in Germany.

Ingredients of the children’s country cake

This cake does not have to be baked and consists of the well-known honey cereals, chocolate, a cream made from quark, mascarpone, cream and condensed milk and of course sugar. This cake is then topped with kinder country and cereals. A delicious and special cake that is sure to be remembered.

Kinder Country Cake

Ingredients
  • 100g Smacks
  • 300g chocolate
  • 250g low-fat curd
  • 250g mascarpone
  • 300g whipped cream
  • 3x cream stiffener
  • 500ml milk
  • 100g sugar
  • For the topping:
  • 3x Kindercountry
  • 20g Smacks
Directions
  • Step 1 Melt the chocolate over a water bath. Then mix with the smacks and pour into a springform pan. Leave to harden in the refrigerator
  • Step 2 Bring the milk to the boil and reduce by half while stirring. Stir in the sugar. Then leave to cool.
  • Step 3 For the cream, mix the quark, mascarpone, whipped cream, cream stiffener and the reduced milk until firm. Then pour this mixture into the springform pan. Then crush the Kindercountry and spread it on the cream. Sprinkle the remaining smacks on the cream as well. Finally, put everything in the refrigerator for several hours.

Sometimes there is nothing better than a simple and quick maccheroni dish with lots of cheese. In this post, I’ll show you how to use just one pot to make a creamy Mac and Cheese that shoots you straight to cheese heaven.

Mac and Cheese

To be honest, I’ve never been to the US and have never eaten original Mac’n’Cheese. Even if this is at the top of my to-do list, until now I had to be content with creating my own recipe. If you have suggestions for a better recipe that is closer to the American original, you are very welcome to write them in the comments! So we can create the optimal Mac and Cheese recipe together.

To prepare my Mac and Cheese

But now to my variant: I use maccheroni, milk, cheddar, Edam cheese, butter and of course salt and pepper for this Mac and Cheese. So that you can prepare everything quickly and easily in one pot, you simply boil the maccheroni in the milk while stirring. When most of the liquid has evaporated and the maccheroni have soaked up nicely with the milk, add the cheese (preferably grated) and butter and stir everything until the cheese has combined with the milk and maccheroni. Finally, all you have to do is season your Mac’n’Cheese with salt and pepper. If necessary, you can garnish the Mac and Cheese with a little parsley.

  • 100g maccheroni
  • 300ml milk 1,5%
  • 30g cheddar, grated
  • 20g edam, grated
  • 5g butter
  • salt, pepper
Directions
  • Step 1 In a saucepan, bring the macaroni to a boil in milk, stirring until the macaroni has absorbed the milk. Meanwhile, grate the cheese
  • Step 2 Add the grated cheese to the pot and mix everything together until you get a creamy consistency. Add 1 piece of butter and mix.
  • Step 3 Season everything with salt and pepper and optionally serve with some parsley.

Tortellini alla Panna are one of my favorite pasta variations. Whether filled with cheese, vegetables or meat, they are simply something special on the plate and always tasty. In this post I’ll show you my recipe for Tortellini alla Panne – tortellini filled with meat on a cheese-cream sauce with ham.

Tortellini alla Panna

As a child, I was always very happy when we went to an Italian restaurant or ordered Italian food home. In contrast to my other family members, I always knew immediately what I wanted to order: Tortellini alla Panna. No other of the many delicious Italian dishes came into question for me. Today I hardly eat this tortellini in any other variation and I am just as happy every time as I did when I was a child with my parents.

With my tortellini alla panna, the tortellini and the quality of the ham are particularly important. These basic ingredients are supplemented with processed cheese, egg yolk, pasta water, cream, a little butter and parmesan. Tortellini alla Panna

Ingredients
  • 250g tortellini
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 10g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50ml Cremefine
  • 1 ladle pasta water
  • 1 tablespoon processed cheese light
  • 30g Parmesan
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg
Directions
  • Step 1 Cook the tortellini. Meanwhile, cut the ham into fine cubes and fry lightly in a deep pan with the butter
  • Step 2 Then mix the egg yolk with the cream and Parmesan and add to the pan. Pour in a ladle of pasta water and stir in the processed cheese. Add the tortellini to the pan and bring everything to a boil briefly. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg
  • Step 3 Serve the tortellini and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Who does not like the taste of warm and creamy cheese sauce with easily roasted gnocchis? Today I will show you my recipe for Gnocchi and Cheese which is done in 20 minutes.

Gnocchi and Cheese. The sound of this recipe needs to melt in one’s mouth. Especially during stressful days this recipe is warming up your soul. Not only that it is done in 15 minutes but this dish is lighting up your day. Once you have tasted the warm and creamy cheese sauce combined with crispy roasted gnocchi, you will never wish for any other dish than my Gnocchi and Cheese.

How to make my Gnocchi with Cheese

For this dish you only need butter, flour, milk, cheddar, parmesan and gnocchi. We will use butter, flour and milk for the basic sauce. At the same time you need to roast the gnocchi in a different pan until they get roasted flavors. The roux will be combined with cheddar. Afterwards mix the Gnocchi together with the cheese sauce. If you like you can give it some parsley at the end. Done are the Gnocchi and Cheese.

Gnocchi and Cheese

Ingredients
  • 400g Gnocchi
  • 10g Butter
  • 1 TS Flour
  • 300ml Milk 1,5%
  • 70g Cheddar, in cubes
  • 30g Parmesan, grated
  • Salt, Pepper
Directions
  • Step 1 Roast the Gnocchi in a pan until they have roasted flavor on each side.
  • Step 2 Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour with a whisk. Pour in milk while stirring and bring to the boil until the sauce thickens.
  • Step 3 Add the cheddar and the parmesan to the sauce and stir until everything has dissolved. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finally stir in the gnocchi.

Who doesn’t melt away when there is an airy little chocolate soufflé in front of you that rises with the first spoon and a warm, liquid chocolate core flows out? This recipe will make your mouth water while reading it and I guarantee that every guest who eats this chocolate soufflé will only go home with a satisfied smile. This dessert is also known as Lava Cake – a great name for the warm, liquid core that flows out of the chocolate cake when you open it for the first time.

Timing the liquid core perfectly

If you want to make a chocolate souffle, you will not find your master by mixing the ingredients together. The real difficulty with the perfect preparation of a chocolate souffle with a liquid core is your own time management, because in the end every single minute counts.

You only need a few ingredients for the dough. First and foremost, of course, chocolate, butter, sugar, 1 egg, flour and a little baking soda. The chocolate is melted together with the butter in a water bath and stirred into a smooth mass. The remaining ingredients are mixed together to form a dough, under which the chocolate mass is then carefully mixed in.

I recommend always baking the chocolate soufflé in matching molds, which have to be rubbed really well with butter beforehand. The purpose of this is that the cakes can be removed again at the end without breaking (and this is a bit of a challenge due to the liquid core). A little digression: I once tried to bake these souffles in a silicone mold and in the end it failed miserably because they melted completely, couldn’t be removed from the mold and the chocolate tasting was perfect. Well – back to the better variant.

After the right molds have been rubbed well with butter and (important!) The oven has been preheated to 210 degrees, the dough is evenly filled into the molds so that they are about 1/2 full. These are then pushed into the oven and baked to the minute, depending on the cooking point. This is where you really should set a timer so as not to miss your perfect point.

Because tastes are known to be different, here is a small recommendation for baking times, which varies depending on the cooking level:

  • 8 minutes – super fluid core
  • 10 minutes – small liquid core in the middle
  • 12 minutes – hardly to not at all runny, but rather mushy cake

As you can see in the picture, the liquid core really melts away. I recommend carefully removing the finished chocolate souffle from the mold after baking and placing it on a dessert plate. The best way to do this is to carefully loosen the edges with a knife. The chocolate souffle can then be decorated as desired. I sprinkled it with powdered sugar and garnished with fresh raspberries and pomegranate seeds. This creates a perfect taste combination in the mouth of warm and sweet chocolate with the fresh acidity of raspberries and a crunchy chewing experience thanks to the pomegranate seeds. Alternatively, the souffle can of course also be spooned out of the mold, but be careful here as the mold gets extremely hot.

  • 330g butter
  • 50g chocolate
  • 30g flour
  • 30g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1x vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch baking soda
Directions
  • Step 1 Melt the chocolate with the butter over a hot water bath until everything is completely dissolved. Mix everything to a clear chocolate mass and let cool briefly.
  • Step 2 Mix the egg with sugar, flour and baking soda. Then carefully fold in the chocolate mixture
  • Step 3 butter two soufflé molds well and divide the batter between the molds
  • Step 4 bake the soufflés in the oven at 210 degrees convection as follows: 8 minutes: super runny center, 10 minutes: slightly runny center, 12 minutes: mushy center.

  • 200g curd cheese (20%)
  • 2 American cookies
  • 30 grapes
  • 20g birch sugar
  • 100g whipped cream
Directions
  • Step 1 Mischen Sie den Quark mit dem Zucker und rühren Sie die Schlagsahne unter, bis eine cremige Masse entsteht.
  • Step 2 Waschen Sie die Weintrauben und halbieren Sie sie.
  • Step 3 Zerbröseln Sie die Kekse und bewahren Sie sie in einer Schüssel auf.
  • Step 4 Schichten Sie nun alle Zutaten in ein Glas. Beginnen Sie mit einer Schicht Weintrauben, dann mit einer Schicht Quark und bedecken Sie die Quarkschicht mit einer Schicht Kekskrümel. Dann wieder mit einer Schicht Quark bedecken und mit Weintrauben abschließen. Die restlichen Kekskrümel als Dekoration verstreuen.
